This 2D1N Rinjani Summit trek is the perfect option for travelers who want to reach the highest peak of Lombok (3726m) but have limited time. Starting and ending in Sembalun, the trip brings you through savanna grasslands, a scenic crater rim, and finally, the majestic summit of Mount Rinjani.

Witness the unforgettable sunrise from the top before continuing your journey to your next destination. This trek is suitable for average to experienced hikers, and even beginners or fit children can join.

How It Works

• One-night stay at a hotel in Senaru before the trek
• The trek starts at 07:00 AM sharp. Don’t be late — the mountain won’t wait!
• Local English-speaking guide & professional porter team
• Visit and learn about the village of Senaru and its traditions
• Visit to Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep Waterfalls (before sunset)
• Camp under the stars at the Sembalun Crater Rim
• Reach the summit of Mount Rinjani (3726 MASL)
• Stunning panoramic views from the crater rim and summit

Important Info

• Please do come the day before the trek starts and spend the night in Senaru to make sure you are fully prepared and to avoid any delays! Arriving on the starting day might add unnecessary pressure. Exceptions can be made if you don’t have much time on Lombok though.
• Transportation to Senaru is not included, but we can help you arrange it from anywhere in Lombok.
• It’s cold at the top, especially before sunrise — bring a jacket!
• Good hiking shoes are a must.
• Transport after the trek is not included, but of course, we’re happy to help you book it!
